Genevieve choose to make a size 14 boiler suit, using 3.5m of our 140cm wide Patchwork Denim in Black, plus a zip approx. 50cm/20" long. There are loads of variations on this pattern, including sleeveless, short sleeve and shorts length options. You can also choose to add a waist tie, use elastic or not, change up the collar, zip finish, top stitching and more! Genevieve in 5' 7", so made several adjustments to the pocket placements for her height. She shifted the front pockets down and towards the centre approx 2.5cm, and the back pockets in a little towards the centre back. As an advanced sewist, Genevieve was able to make alterations to the pattern with ease, including adapting the collar to a mandarin style, lengthening the crotch area and cutting the pockets on the cross grain to break up the patchwork pattern. She choose to use the elasticated waist method, rather than a waist tie, and faced the zipper. Such a professional, clean finish!

A KATM label in the back gives Genevieve's make a personal finishing touch, which we love. This practical and fun boiler suit is a new favourite pattern for Gen, and she said she'll definitely be making it again!
