Have you tried Papercut Pattern's Lulee Dress yet? HQ team member Gab made a gorgeous version of this pattern up recently, matching a soft floral print linen blend with this classic dress silhouette. If you are looking for a new dress to transition the seasons in, Lulee might be just the ticket! Read on for Gab's project notes and photos.
Pattern Used: Papercut Patterns — Lulee Dress
Lulee features a classic darted bodice with a hip skimming bias cut skirt and is able to be made in mini or full length with long or short sleeves. Gab made the short sleeve version in size 5 based on her measurements and loves the fit of the finished dress. She used approximately 2.5m of this beautiful viscose/linen print, pre-washing it to soften it and avoid shrinkage. Like Genevieve, Gab said this pattern had clear instructions and the only alterations she made were to add 1cm elastic into the sleeve hems instead of using gathering stitches.
