Mabel Dress

Mabel is a simple every-day knit dress pattern, designed to suit a variety of knit fabrics for all seasons, including our ZQ Premium Merino jersey. It features a casual straight fit in the bust and shoulder through to a subtle A-line swing in the body, with in-seam pockets. The hem and sleeves are provided at full length with shorten/lengthening options. With full length sleeves, Mabel is an ideal dress for layering up in wintertime, or try the t-shirt sleeve length and throw on with sandals and a sunhat in warmer weather! Mabel Sizing + Fit

The Mabel Dress comes in our NZ 4-32 size range and is a casual fit. We recommend referring to both the garment measurements and the body measurements when selecting a size, regardless of what size you wear in ready-to-wear clothing.

Our patterns are drafted for a height of 172cm (5'7"). You may wish to lengthen or shorten the body and sleeve hem depending on your height and personal preference and change the location of the pockets. If you wish to adjust the fit through the bust, we recommend using the bust apex points provided on the patterns.
