Pattern Used — Georgia's Portfolio Mellow Dress
The Mellow Dress sports a simple silhouette that is designed to be cut on bias to allow ease of movement. Attention to detail is given in the cute shoulder fastenings this pattern features, meaning no fussy back neck closure to handle. We tested this out in a size 12 for Alice, and the fit was perfect! The instructions and illustrations were super easy to follow and we loved the clean finish of the double fold bias binding around the neckline and armholes. Our size 12 used 2.5m of Bold Gerbera Midweight Linen in Emerald, and we adore how this large-scale floral comes to life with this pattern. We agree with the advanced beginner difficulty level, with the handmade loops at the shoulder The Mellow Dress pattern is a digital PDF download and is offered in Australian sizes 6-28 from Georgia's website here.
