We are searching for a fashion-focused individual to join us in the casual role of Retail Assistant in our Wandoo St, Brisbane fabric store. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver exceptional customer service, have a genuine love for fabric as well as garment construction knowledge! You will need to be proactive in achieving sales targets and be passionate about providing a high level of customer service at all times. Previous retail experience is an advantage however the ability to work in a team, passion for our product, and the right knowledge/skillset are the most important factors for us when hiring for our retail stores. The successful candidate will have an innate love for beautiful fabrics and will be excited to work in a creative and inspiring environment. The Fabric Store is a boutique fabric retailer, which specializes in contemporary designer dress fabrics and textiles, with a strong focus on natural fibres. The brand began in New Zealand, and now has stores throughout New Zealand and Australia, as well as an international online store. Fabrics are sourced from both local and international designers and include silks, linens, wool suiting & coatings, satins, cottons and specialty pieces such as merino jersey, leather hides and Liberty of London prints.
