Wellington Store — Part Time Retail Assistant

Are you passionate about fabrics and fashion? We're seeking a fabric-loving individual to join our team as a part-time Retail Assistant at our store on College Street. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for fabric, coupled with knowledge of garment construction, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a memorable shopping experience.
Proactively achieve sales targets through effective communication and product knowledge.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient store environment.

Requirements:

Enthusiasm for our products and the textile industry.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Previous retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
Genuine passion for fabric and garment construction.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

NZ Stores | Retail Positions — Expressions of Interest Welcome

We’re constantly on the lookout for retail talent! Whilst we don't have any current positions open, we welcome you to submit your CV and a cover letter if you are interested in working for us in one of our New Zealand locations. Please include in your cover letter which location you are interested in registering your interest for.

What we look for: For all of our retail store roles, we look to hire fabric-loving individuals and the ideal candidates will be those able to deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll also have a genuine love for fabric, as well as garment construction knowledge. In our retail positions, you will need to be pro-active in achieving sales targets and be passionate about providing a high level of customer service at all times. Previous retail experience is an advantage, however the ability to work in a team, passion for our product, and the right knowledge/skillset are the most important factors for us when hiring for our retail stores. The successful candidate will have an innate love for beautiful fabrics and will be excited to work in a creative and inspiring environment. This is a great opportunity to join a mindful, fun, and energetic company in the fashion and textile industry.
