Liam Pattern's Robin Dress pattern is a simple bias cut style with mini, midi or long length options. Amy from our Online Team picked a chic Prince Of Wales suiting for her cute mini Robin, check out photos and project details below.
The Robin Dress is available in PDF or print from Liam Patterns. Amy chose to make a size 8, using 2.5m of Prince Of Wales Check Suiting - Moth and opted for a high boat-neck front with a low v-neck back. Amy is an advanced sewist and was able to make simple alterations to the length and fit of this pattern. Liam Patterns suggest the Robin would suit beginner sewists, but Amy felt that the all-in-one facing could be a little challenging for a complete beginner. She recommends taking your time with this part of the project, as it will effect the look and comfort of the armhole and neckline areas. Overall, the project took Amy about six hours to complete and she loves the end result!
She'll be pairing her Robin Dress with a cute cardigan or vest and some loafers, plus a Darcy Coat in wintertime.
