TFS HQ team member Charlotte made this stunning outfit using the Henrietta Skirt from Spaghetti Western Sewing, and the Pleat Top from Alamain. Read on for photos and project details.
Project Details
Charlotte used the popular Henrietta Skirt pattern from Spaghetti Western Sewing in a size L. This took 2.7m of our new Classic Cotton Poplin in the cute colourway Taffy, plus some woven elastic and a spool of matching thread. The only mod she made was to add 3cm to the waistband, to allow for a wider (50mm) elastic, instead of the 30mm elastic the pattern called for. You can download the Henrietta Skirt online here.
Charlotte loved the design elements of this top, and found the instructions easy to follow. This pattern has a limited size range, and she'd like to see more sizes so that it could be used by a wider range of sewists, without having to modify.

Charlotte says "The skirt was a quick and easy sew, all up it took me an afternoon. Next time I make it, I'm going to try and modify the pattern to include pockets!"
