Staff Make | Charlotte's Fog Tee Hack
Charlotte has sewn an incredible dress! She used our Mod Flower cotton, combining a hacked Make by TFS Fog Tee and self-drafted skirt. Check out details and photos!
Make by TFS
It's been a longtime dream of our team to create our own home sewing patterns and we are SO excited to now have our very own range. Make by TFS has evolved from our desire to encourage as many people as possible to sew their own clothing slowly, a natural extension of our sustainable and ethical business values and our design-driven philosophy.
This zero waste pattern is a cute easy-sew shape for layering, and we made up this sheer version in popular chocolate brown! Instead of using typical pattern pieces that have curves for shaping fabric around areas of the body, zero waste pattern designs usually rely on straight lines and simple geometric shapes that fit together like a puzzle.
"My experience with The Fabric Store has been nothing short of magical. Their collection of exclusive linens and incredible deadstock finds never fails to inspire me and brings so much joy into my sewing room.”
“The Fabric Store is my favourite place to find high quality textiles! From their beautiful organic linens, to unique deadstock fabrics and upcycled denims, I can always find the perfect textile for my sewing projects.”
“Buying fabric online can be a bit scary but since my first purchase at The Fabric Store the process couldn’t be smoother. Their fabric descriptions are very detailed and the photos depict the drape and texture pretty accurately, I specially like the magnifying feature to really help determine the feel of the fabric. You can also use their chat feature, it’s so helpful to talk to a person and get assistance choosing the perfect fabric for your project.”
