Calling all lovers of statement bags! The Bow Bag from Small Museum has been lighting up our feeds since it's release, and we're officially in love with its playful pop meets surrealist vibes! We've gone for a full summer celebration with our version, pairing bright yellow poplin with a floral liberty for maximum boldness. Read on for more!

Project Details

We used the Small Museum Bow Bag pattern in the largest size. The pattern comes with three size options, so you can pick the bow size that suits you! Our bag took 2.4m of our new Classic Cotton Poplin in the bright colour way Sour Lemon, plus 90cm of Liberty Tana Lawn - Allison Lewis A, and two matching yellow invisible zips. The instructions were simple to follow, and no mods were made - we adore the end result! This project would be a fun adventure for a beginner sewist who wants to try out zip insertion. The style is fully lined, and offers you two zip up pouches in each side of the bow, with a single wide strap that sits nicely on the shoulder. A fun statement piece, sure to start a conversation or two!
