Olivia used the Linnea Dress from Lizzie Studios, after spotting this cute inspo make here. 

Olivia says - "The whole dress is French seamed which was a new experience for me! I’ve done French seams before but only on side seams, not on sleeves and certainly not on pockets!”

”The dress is so lovely now it’s finished and it meant I didn’t need to tackle my temperamental overlocker or the dreaded zigzag stitch. This was my first time sewing with a silk cotton blend and it took me a little bit to get the tension right. I had to be more patient than I have been on previous projects but we got there in the end. The found that the pockets sit rather low and I have to reach a little for them, so I'd suggest raising it up a bit if you try this pattern out"

"This fabric is super light and semi sheer but the gathering and volume of the dress means it’s not exposing. I can’t wait to wear it in the height of summer, so breezy and light, it will be a dream!"
