Staff Makes — Fashion Revolution 2025

This week is Fashion Revolution Week, and we’re forever grateful to have many sewists in our TFS team who genuinely understand the value of slow fashion and slow sewing.

We believe that making our own clothes inevitably helps us to value every single garment in our wardrobes as we understand the time, patience and skill it took to create each piece — #MeMade or otherwise! So here's to the art of sewing, and here's to our talented team!

Genevieve from TFS HQ wears her #MeMade Intrepid Boilersuit with a modified mandarin collar and bows up the front!

Brisbane store manager Katie wears a Soften Studio Clo Bias Skirt in our heavyweight natural linen with a Soften Studio Rue Blouse in deadstock linen.

Olivia from TFS Wellington wears two self-drafted pieces. The top is a deadstock cotton jersey with a deadstock cotton 2x3 rib, and the skirt is deadstock linen!

Auckland store manager, Ella, wears a Make By TFS Fog Tee boatneck and cloud pants (left) both made in our merino boucle with silk taffeta stars and a tank top Fog Tee (right) in a merino too.

Sonya from our Brisbane store wears a Soften Studio Clo Bias skirt  in deadstock linen with a Lydia Naomi Bubble Frock top in this sweet cotton.

Store Manager Emily from TFS Christchurch wears a self-drafted skirt with bows at the side seams in deadstock shot gingham taffeta!

Wellington manager Annabelle made a lengthened Celestia Dress in this slubby black deadstock linen rayon and wears it over a self-drafted tie top in a black deadstock cotton.

Jasmine from our Christchurch store made this Rossi Wrap dress in this incredible Liberty crepe back satin.

Eloise in Wellington wears her gorgeous Soften Studio Dae Dress in this crinkle check cotton.

Lizzie in Brisbane made this Soften Studio Clo Bias Skirt in deadstock wool and also hand-knitted her vest!

Our online store manager Zosia made this Peppermint Pinafore in deadstock silk!
